Astrology does not give us answers but questions, what does it mean to be conscious, to be aware of our family and our environment and yet as all living things fragile and vulnerable to the twists of fate and fortune.  With dreams hopes and desires.

Natal Chart Report for David Graeber

Born Sunday 12th February 1961 New York time Unknown

Sunrise represents the birth of our consciousness, our awareness of being which is represented by the sun.  The last star to rise with the sun at our time of birth is called our heliacal rising star.  Our Helical rising star like the sign the sun rises in which is more commonly known as our sun sign, gives individual questions and meaning to our own unique consciousness.

Heliacal rising star Acumen

Acumen belongs to a cluster of stars that represent the sting of the scorpion.  In the Taurean age the Scorpion was slain by the sun at the autumnal equinox. In Mesopotamian astrology Libra represented its claws holding the balance between day and night, in mythology Inanna (Venus) slew the scorpion and caused the night to grow longer.  This is a major theme of Scorpio the desire to cling to control and maintain balance at any price, the sudden loss of control through overwhelming emotional forces, that bring about the natural destructive processes necessary for renewal and growth.  The sting of the Scorpion represents sharp, acute pain and the ability to inflict this metaphorically, to make another bow down low.  This does not mean that the person is either violent or vindictive but capable of sudden acts of defence or defiance. With Pluto (ruler of Scorpio) conjunct the North Node of the moon in Virgo opposite Mercury (ruler of virgo) in the natal chart, these stings are most likely to be verbal, critical and analytic.  Pluto sextile Mars in Cancer (other co ruler of Scorpio) indicates strong emotional responses and defence around family, community, country or this individuals sense of roots, history, environment and belonging.  Acumen means sharp or pointed often linked to sharp mind and with Pluto opposite Mercury in the natal chart the individual is capable of spotting hidden agendas and ideologies when sifting through information and is likely to question the bias in statistics or ‘facts’.  Added to this Mars is Out of Bounds, beyond the 23.5 degree northern path of the Sun at summer solstice, which means the individual is not bound by the societal norms in which they live which means they are more likely to challenge authority figures, rules and regulations especially their own inner psychological restrictions in order to create inner renewal and growth these challenges are likely to be fierce, penetrating and well planned.  Since Mars is in Cancer this is symbolic of the environment they grew up in although they are very likely unconscious  of this origin.

Heliacal setting star Castor

On the 10th of Simanu the True Shepherd of Anu and the Great Twins becomes visible, – this is called helical rising, helical setting is when the star is no longer visible at night. Heliacal setting star thus does not appear as visible to others but plays a major role in the person’s life and how they view their own personal story.  Our heliacal setting star relates more to the moon, our family, environment and childhood influences.

Castor is the mortal twin of Pollux, and as such is a reminder of the fragility of life. The story of Castor and Pollux is one in which our relationship with our siblings and peers leads to altruism.  As such Castor represents the fragility of life, our capacity to act altruistically and our equality irrespective of birth.  Mercury in Pisces (ruler of Gemini) conjunct South Node of the Moon indicates that childhood influences placed great importance on altruism, equality and the fragility of life and that these issues may have sensitive memories relating to past events. Mercury semi-square Jupiter and Saturn in Capricorn indicates an inner dynamic in which the individual is constantly trying to balance these influences with their own ideology and sense of reality. Mercury contra parallel to Venus indicates an inner struggle with the individual’s own desire nature when it comes to perceiving it as selfish or unfair, which may lead to questioning of own motives especially within relationships.  The individual may also struggle to accept that their own emotional responses are valid irrespective of whether they are rational, fair or altruistic.

Sun in Aquarius conjunct Deneb Algedi (Tail of Capricorn)

Capricorn represents the Horn of Plenty, Deneb Algedi the tail represents plenty but in the form of spiritual wisdom or the living waters of Aquarius, In Sumerian language water and semen are the same word this represents fertility of humanity to imagine and create societies that are just, fair and prosperous, Sun conjunct Deneb Algedi represents incorporating these ideals into the narration of the individual’s life.

Sun in Aquarius opposite Uranus in Leo

The sun represents the narrator of our own unique story, Sun in Aquarius individuals narrate their story like a sci-fi drama or novel such as Dune, there is a feeling of being in an alien culture, civilisation or universe wherever they are born and live.  In Mesopotamian astrology Aquarius represented the Waters of the Great One Enki, father of civilisation yet those with the sun here struggle with feelings of being alien whatever civilisation they are part of.  This feeling of alienation allows those with sun in Aquarius to question what most people take for granted without noticing, it also allows them to identify closely with outcasts of society.  With Uranus opposite Sun this feeling of constant alienation is accentuated.  The individual may have felt this especially during childhood where their imagination, creativity and self expression were unappreciated, repressed or misunderstood by others or they may have been expected to show a degree of independence and self reliance beyond their years.  This may have led the individual struggling to develop appropriate self confidence in their own independent abilities and talents.

With the Sun semi-sextile Jupiter and Saturn in Capricorn and Uranus Quincunx Jupiter and Saturn there is a sense of alienation in which as a child the individual struggled to understand the ideological reasons for adult behaviour directed towards them especially when this behaviour seemed authoritarian, cold and unnecessary or if adults had failed to set reasonable boundaries and structures for their safety and security.  This may have led the individual to take longer to develop their own ability to risk assess appropriately or they may have been forced to do this at a very early age before they had the capacity to do so.

Venus in Aries semi-square Sun

The individual is deeply sensitive abut how others perceive them and there is a tendency to cover this up by sudden outbursts when somebody touches on a sensitive subject relating to their sense of self confidence especially around their need for close emotional bonds and security as a child especially as a baby where circumstances may have affected this process for some reason.  This event may still affect the individual in personal relationships and they may still struggle to form bonds easily in their close personal relationships.

Mars in Cancer trine Sun

The individual is quite comfortable with their natural biological drives and instincts and accepts this part of themselves as part of the story of who they are and why they made certain choices / actions in life.  The individual is also comfortable accepting that these drives and instincts have been influenced by their need for emotional security, affection and nurturing.

Waning crescent Moon in Capricorn

The individual was born under a waning crescent moon and is uncomfortable openly displaying their need for belonging and affection in public.  They are capable of being extremely affectionate in private but do not like to share their emotional life or have their family in the public eye and can be extremely protective of both. With the moon in Capricorn the individual does not tend to express their emotions without questioning how reasonable they are first, this means that they can repress a lot of emotions they think are unjustified or unreasonable rather than just accepting them as just emotions without the need of validity.  When it comes to family and friends they are capable of looking after both for long periods due to a strong sense of responsibility and duty.

Since exact time of birth is unknown the moon could potentially make the following aspects:

Scenario 1

Moon semi square Sun in Aquarius

With this aspect there is a high probability that the individuals parents’ relationship was very volatile and extremely passionate, this may have been hard for the individual to feel secure as it would have been unlikely they would be able to predict the atmosphere at home or completely relax as both parents could react suddenly to each other in unpredictable ways.  With Venus square Mars in the natal chart this individual tends to find themselves in similar relationships this may be an attempt to work through the unresolved issues of their parents’ relationship and partially due learnt behaviour that feels comfortable and familiar.

Moon trine Pluto in Virgo, North Node of Moon

With this aspect they will be very protective of family and close friends, it is likely that their friends and family will have a deep impact on the choices they make in life and they are capable of enduring almost any situation rather than hurt or disappoint those that are close to them.  There is an intense loyalty with this aspect that makes the individual capable of almost anything when it comes to protecting those that are close to them.  This individual will be likely to forgive the most painful betrayals from close long term friends and family rather than lose them for without friends and family they feel whatever they accomplish in life it is worthless.

Moon sextile Neptune in Scorpio

With this aspect they will have had many experiences that has called into question their beliefs about family, roots, history, community and country which means ideas on these subjects are always in constant state of change.  There is a need to explore their own family history and to find meaning from the past that may be relevant to what they are experiencing today, in order to connect with a sense of who they are and where they belong in the world.

Moon sextile Mercury in Pisces

With this aspect they are capable of understanding people intuitively on an emotional level and it is likely they developed this gift as a small child perhaps as a result of their own childhood experiences.  They have great empathy towards others and instinctively respond to others emotional needs with sensitivity and compassion.  They are also capable of expressing their emotions clearly and without anxiety irrespective of how intense a situation is, they rarely lose emotional control when communicating.

Moon square Venus in Aries

There is conflict here between the desire to remain in control of emotions and to examine their rationality as opposed to the desire to express affection and emotional needs on impulse especially in romantic situations, this may lead to sudden emotional outbursts in relationships when suppressed feels may overwhelm the individual.

Moon opposite Mars

There is a need to protect emotions at all cost and the individual is likely to be very sensitive emotionally but will hide this side of their nature and respond to any perceived emotional threats instantaneously especially any perceived sense of betrayal.  They are unlikely to share their emotins with anybody but a few trusted friends and when hurt they may take a long time to recover emotionally and to forgive.

Scenario 2

Moon semi-sextile Sun in Aquarius it is likely that this individual’s parents seemed to have little in common and may have been emotionally distant, with this individual’s natal Venus and Mars in square aspect this may have lead them to have intense relationships where emotions play a dynamic part as a response to emotional distance they felt as a child.

Moon conjunct Jupiter and Saturn in Capricorn

It is likely that this individual has strong sense of idealism and responsibility which revolves around family influences and was raised in an atmosphere where both were extremely important and form the basis of their childhood and sense of identity.  It is likely that the individual’s mother was both larger than life character with abundant energy as well as extremely protective and nurturing providing stability, strength and structure without hampering freedom of expression and fun.

Moon quincunx Uranus

Sense of being separate from family on an emotional level without understanding why, it is likely that a situation occurred in early childhood which may have caused this but which the individual was to young to understand or comprehend on a cognitive level but  which left this emotional impression which may lead them to avoid closeness for fear of separation.

Moon Semi-square Mercury in Pisces

With this aspect the individual struggles to express emotions clearly since they are felt intensely, this creates tension in relationships which may lead to verbal explosions at times which may be the only point when they can let go and express their feelings. This aspect is very dynamic and there is a lot of tension between this person’s need to be rational and their need to express emotions.

Venus in Aries

Aries begins at the spring equinox which has been associated with Inanna (Venus) since Sumerian times, since Inanna / Anu (Uranus) rule the equinox. Venus is loosely conjunct the spring equinox in the natal chart which represents fertility, creativity and renewal.  Venus in this position represents the power of Inanna Queen of heaven.  The individual is likely to be direct in going after what they desire in life.  They are also likely to be quick to anger when they are denied whatever they desire but also quick to let go and unlikely to hold a grudge.  The fiery nature of Inanna and her capacity to wage war was usurped in Roman mythology by Mars, thus in later astrology Mars was said to represent the male in a man’s chart and Venus their ideal partner, and vice versa in a woman’s chart.  This was due to gender stereotyping for both gender’s Mars and Venus represent who they are and how they express different needs.  It is only when these needs are unexpressed due to social conditioning that they are projected onto the opposite sex as a means of fulfilling inherent desires.

Venus conjunct Fixed star Algenib (wing of Pegasus)

In mythology Pegasus springs from the body of Medusa at her death, Medusa in Greek mythology was a high priestess of Athena, thus Pegasus represents both the wisdom of Athena and the mysticism / spirituality of Neptune. With Venus conjunct Algenib the wing tip the person is highly imaginative and creative in an intellectual capacity. Asteroid Medusa in Sagittarius is also trine Venus and square Mercury, Medusa is an ancient symbol and equates to Humbaba guardian of the cedar forest (Medusa originates from Greek word for guardian) in Mesopotamian mythology, Humbaba who was killed by Gilgamesh much to Inanna’s (Venus) anger has seven layers of mystical armour or what may be seven auras/ chakras and this energy is returned to the earth after his death. Medusa thus represents the guardian, creative energy and self sacrifice, this denotes that this individual is capable of sacrificing much to protect others and is also capable of investing much energy into achieving what they desire in life.

Venus square Mars in Cancer

whilst the Sun and Moon reflect the interaction between male and female role models especially our parents, Mars and Venus represents how we interact with our partner in sexual relationships.  The square represents dynamic interaction that is often intense, passionate and volatile. There is constant tension within this individual between the need to go after what they want directly and the desire to be sensitive and understanding or at least to be perceived in that way.  There may be greater friction within sexual relationships if this individual’s efforts to be considerate, sensitive and understanding go unnoticed or unappreciated. This may cause the individual to either withdraw emotionally from the relationship or to become very direct about what they feel is wrong.  However at the same time the individual may be particularly sensitive to any criticism levelled at him about being insensitive and may cause arguments because they withdraw emotional whenever this is raised causing their partner to force the issue in dramatic and intense ways.

This is intensified by Venus semi-square Sun and sesquiquadrate Uranus in Leo which makes the individual feel rejected and overly sensitive to criticism within relationships as well as requiring emotional support and stability whilst insisting the maintain their own individual freedom without compromise.  The individual also tends to seek emotional reassurance whilst being uncomfortable with feeling too close to their partner or with things being calm and stable. This aspect is very dynamic and one that they will feel intensely.

However with Venus at the Apex of a Yod with Pluto in Virgo and Neptune in Scorpio, they have difficulty understanding that although they feel an intense need for freedom within relationships they also desire and need to feel an intense connection on an emotional / soul / spiritual level although this aspect is not felt as urgently as the need for freedom and space within a relationship it is only when this aspect of their personality is recognised that they have the potential of fulfilling it.

Mars in Cancer

Mars here is directly at the point of the Summer Solstice, 0 degrees Cancer, in Mesopotamian astrology this point is ruled by Enlil, Lord Wind /breath/spirit.  Mars here is beyond the declination of the sun at this point and is thus Out of Bounds this is especially powerful as the individual was not born during summer period. The Sumerians associated the last breath with the spirit leaving the body and unless the proper rituals were performed it would remain part of the wind, these spirits were called Lilu and they roamed the desert looking for females to impregnate. In the epic of Gilgamesh it is claimed his father was a Lilu.  Lilu corresponds with Priapus in astrology, Priapus represents the closest point in orbit of moon – the perigree this is opposite the apogee ( point where moon is furthest from earth) or Black Moon Lilith.  Priapus is in Aquarius sextile Venus and square Neptune.  Priapus in Greek mythology represents protection, fertility and the phallus as being separate from the mind and control of man.  Priapus is also said to be the father of Ares (Mars).  Priapus represents physical response from a purely biological function devoid of cognitive  or emotional input this aspect of Priapus is accepted as a purely hedonistic reaction by the individual although they may be uncomfortable acting upon such instincts without an emotional bond.

Mars represents not only sexual drives that are purely biological but also sexual drives created through emotional and cognitive bonding and these drives are especially important to the individual as they seek sexual relationships that have emotional and cognitive potential. Black moon lilith represents the female equivalent of Priapus in the natal chart it is in Leo semi-sextile Mars and quincunx Chiron.  Although the individual is aware that women also have sexual responses on a purely biological reaction they struggle to understand this aspect of female sexuality and may have felt rejection from a female within a relationship because of this lack of emotional or cognitive bonding.  This is especially important since Mars is trine Chiron and the individual seeks psychological reassurance especially from lovers especially when they feel vulnerable.

Mars trine Sun in Aquarius means the individual is comfortable with his drives whether sexual or competitive he accepts them as part of the natural instincts for survival that all humans share. It is also easy to use these drives to fulfil goals and this individual can easily find the energy to achieve what they want in life without an inner dilemma.

Mars trine Mercury in Pisces enables the individual to accept drives irrespective of their logical value, it also enables them to use these drives as a means to fulfil cognitive and intellectual goals with ease. The individual is also comfortable expressing their drives and saying what they want.

Mercury in Pisces

“Gilgamesh whither are you wandering? Life, which you look for, you will never find.  For when the Gods created man, they let death be his share, and life withheld in their own hands.  Gilgamesh, fill your belly. Day and night make merry.  Let days be full of joy, dance and make music day and night. And wear fresh clothes. and wash your head and bathe. Look at the child that is holding your hand, and let your wife delight in your embrace.  These things alone are the concern of men.”

“There never was a passage, Oh Gilgamesh,

And no one, who from the earliest times came hither, hath crossed the sea.

The hero Shamash (Sun) hath indeed crossed the sea, but who beside him could do so?

The passage is hard, and the way is difficult,

And the waters of death which bar its front are deep.

If then, Gilgamesh, thou art able to cross the sea,

When you arrive at the waters of death what wilt thou do?”

Siduri which means young woman in Hurrian and may be Ishtar / Inanna / Ashtarte / Venus / Aphrodite

Siduri was described as an Ale Wife Goddess, asteroid Ninkasi in Capricorn(Sumerian goddess of beer) is conjunct Jupiter and Saturn and semi-square Mercury.  Which makes this individual aware of the realities of life and the importance of enjoying it while we can.

In Greek mythology Aphrodite and Eros are rescued by two fish which are placed in the heavens as the constellation Pisces. In later Syrian mythology two fish rescue an egg from the Euphrates and from this egg came Ashtarte.

Pisces then has connections to love, happiness, fulfilment and mortality.  Those with Mercury in Pisces understand that life is fragile and that it should be enjoyed whilst we can, they also understand grief and loss better than most.  They have an ability to empathise with most people, Pisces is a sign that believes in love in the spiritual / ideological sense of compassion and altruism towards our fellow man.  However they are also aware that these ideals are impossible for mere mortals to live up to.  This failure to live up to their own ideals makes them compassionate with the failures of others.  These individuals find communicating ideas with others easy and this is especially true in person as they are able to pick up subtle clues in body language and tone of voice much easier than many others.

Mercury semi-sextile Venus this person is aware of their raw emotional reactions but find it difficult to communicate these emotions effectively at times.  They struggle to find balance between what they feel and what they think at times and tend to keep the two separate.

Mercury trine Mars in Cancer, this individual is very relaxed about their basic drives and accept them, they are quite relaxed about expressing these drives and also express their passions and anger fluidly when speaking, they are more comfortable venting their anger verbally rather than physically and are more likely to express anger in a calm calculated manner rather than in an explosion of temper.

Mercury semi-square Jupiter and Saturn in Capricorn, this individual is acutely aware of the highs and lows of life, they tend to like to maintain a balance between optimism and pessimism for them the glass is always half full and half empty and this viewpoint allows them to be both optimistic and yet practical at the same time.  They are unlikely to fall for grand schemes or ideas without thinking of the practical consequences first and consider both the positives and the negatives equally of any idea.

Mercury trine Neptune in Scorpio

Neptune is the ruler of Pisces, this individual is comfortable with expressing their ideals, fantasies and dreams.  They are aware of illusion and disillusionment as part of the human experience and understand mythology, symbolism and stories as ways of expressing the human imagination and spiritual needs.  This person understands parables and stories are a way of passing on information, expressing abstract ideas and expressing the potential of the mind to imagine.

Mercury opposite Pluto in Virgo, This individual has a sharp mind and likes to probe beneath the surface of what people say to find out what is really going on.  They also have the ability to be extremely cutting when speaking to people and this can be an intense experience for those on the receiving end of their sharp tongue as what may be said may reveal aspects of that person’s personality that they are extremely uncomfortable with.

Mercury conjunct the South Node of the Moon, the thought patterns of this individual have been developed in childhood and are very pronounced and unlikely to change much throughout life, this person tends to use childhood experiences as their template for how they view the world now and whatever ideas were important in childhood while still remain central throughout their life.

Jupiter and Saturn in Capricorn conjunct Deneb Okab (Wing of the eagle)

although Deneb means tail Deneb Okab is in the wing of the eagle Aquilla. Aquilla represents Jupiter who changed into an eagle to abduct Ganymede to become his lover and cup-bearer. Deneb Okab was also part of the constellation of Antinous, who was the lover of the Roman emperor Hadrian before his death. Both Ganymede and Antinous became gay Icons. Asteroid Frank Kameny in Scorpio (Gay Civil Rights Campaigner) is sextile Jupiter and Saturn and forms the Apex of a T-square with Sun and Uranus, which gives this individual a strong belief in equality of rights for all and the freedom to chose. Asteroid Ganymede conjunct Pluto and the North Node of the Moon, opposite Mercury drives this individual to speak out against prejudice in society, Ganymede as the cup-bearer of Olympus is in an honoured position in which the Gods have placed complete trust in him and this asteroid conjunct natal north Node of the Moon indicates the potential to be placed in great trust or high esteem in life.

Jupiter Conjunct Saturn in Capricorn, gives the individual an awareness of both the fruitfulness of life and the realities of mortality.  The individual is aware that circumstances in life can change suddenly from financial crisis, to crop failure, earthquake, flood and fire, abundance can turn to famine within days.  Thus although this individual is usually hopeful of the future they are also extremely practical and like to prepare as much as possible for all and any eventuality. Jupiter represents our faith, our hope, our understanding of symbolism and our ability to gamble and take risks in life conjunct Saturn in Capricorn this individual is likely to show moderation in risk taking, gambling and their faith in people / ideals.  They are unlikely to be carried away by their beliefs and question the rational / propaganda behind movements. Saturn represents our understanding of reality, parenting, consequences, hard work, continuity and boundaries conjunct Jupiter the individual is likely to believe in working hard to achieve what they want from life and the importance of maintaining self control.

Jupiter conjunct Saturn semi-sextile Sun in Aquarius, makes it difficult for the individual to fully incorporate their need for recognition and self fulfilment into their future plans and personal ideology.  They are aware of this aspect of their personality but struggle to accept their own narcissistic tendencies as essential part of who they are and try to distance themselves from their own interpretation of their life and the inherent biases within it.

Jupiter conjunct Saturn semi-square Mercury in Pisces, creates an intense friction between this person’s sense of reality, ideology and their attempts to view life from a purely rational and logical perspective.  The individual struggles between what is logical and rational and what is practical or idealistic and is constantly trying to fuse these aspects between the intellect, imagination and the physical world.

Jupiter conjunct Saturn quincunx Uranus in Leo, there is a disconnect between this persons idealism, practicality and their need for personal freedom and expression of individuality which makes it almost impossible for the individual to combine these aspects of their personality.  They tend to ignore their own need for creative expression in order to fulfil their duties or express their idealism.

Jupiter conjunct Saturn quintile Neptune in Scorpio, this person’s sense of reality, duty, idealism and faith is in harmony with their dreams, fantasies and spiritual nature.

Jupiter and Saturn Sesquiquadrate Pluto in Virgo, this person’s sense of reality, duty, idealism and faith is in constant tension with their deepest desires and darker drives.

Uranus in Leo conjunct Fixed Star Subra (knee of the Lion)

The Nemean Lion’s hide was worn by Hercules until he was decreed to be Omphale’s slave for a year. Omphale Queen of Lydia wore the Nemean lion skin and carried his club whilst Hercules wore women’s clothes and performed menial tasks reserved for women. With Uranus in Leo conjunct Subra there is an urge to question all stereotypes and societal roles, to see what happens when roles are reversed or swapped in some way. Subra represents the ability to slice through any obstacle and see what lies beneath.

Uranus opposite Sun in Aquarius, here both are mutual dispositors, i.e Sun rules Leo and Uranus rules Aquarius which means that most decisions this person makes will be a balance of both influences.

Mercury and Fomalhaut conjunct South Node of Moon in Pisces

Fomalhaut is the fish mouth in Pisces Austrinus the Great Fish, into which the waters of Aquarius flow in the southern hemisphere. A Royal star of Persia, it guards the Southern hemisphere and represents archangel Gabriel the word of God, this star marked the winter solstice in 2582 BC. Fomalhaut represents the word of God or prophet conjunct Mercury and the South Node of the Moon this star marks wisdom and spiritual guidance learnt in youth.  The individual may have had many experiences which led them to question the wisdom of others and to develop their own understanding, it is likely that they developed the skills as a child which would lead them to communicate with others in such a way as to be heard and to inspire change. Asteroid Daniel in Taurus is sextile the South Node and Trine Pluto Daniel was a major Prophet and carried great influence, the name means God is my judge and this aspect denotes that the person is comfortable in refusing to follow social customs etc. that they deem wrong, and have the courage to face danger for their beliefs. Asteroid Wisdom in Cancer is conjunct Mars and trine the South Node, this drives the individual to try to find the right solutions to the basic needs of all.

Sample Chakra Report   Leave a comment

The Natal chart Chakra Report is exclusive to Neptune’s aura.  This report gives advice on the best ways possible for the individual to develop their latent talents and gifts through accessing and developing the latent energy that dwells inside them.

This is an extract of The Natal Chakra report

The Chakras play an important role in our lives.

eve

We can think of the chakras as a whole representing a tree and the Kundalini is the serpent coiled around its base. The tree of knowledge of Good and evil was placed in the centre of the garden of Eden, just like our tree is placed in the centre of our body.  The serpent speaks to Eve and its words cause Eve to ponder in deep profound thought.  We do not know what the serpent says in the story but the original Hebrew words talk of deep thought and an intense psychological experience upon hearing them.  Eve eats the fruit of wisdom and encourages Adam to do the same.  This angers God and he curses the serpent to reside at the base of the chakra where it shall eat the dust and mankind in that they will have to toil and work for the wisdom they have received.

We can find Nature outside of us only if we have first learnt to know her within us. The Natural within us must be our guide to her. This marks out our path of inquiry. We shall attempt no speculations concerning the interaction of Mind and Matter. We shall rather probe into the depths of our own being, to find there those elements which we saved in our flight from Nature.

There are different theories on the chakras although the system most known in the west is the seven main chakras used in this report, many schools of thought in the East had their own systems unique to them and in many ways this report follows that example in creating a unique interpretation of the chakras and their purpose using the astrology of the natal chart.  In common all schools of thought held a main interpretation of the chakras as meeting point in the body for certain channels through which the prana (life force flows).  This is both physical and symbolic.  The lymphatic system emits fluid along with white blood cells into the cardiovascular system.  The endocrine system secretes hormones into the cardiovascular system. The digestive system also uses the small blood and lymphatic vessels in the intestinal wall pick up the molecules and carry them to the rest of the body. The nervous system sends electrical impulses all around the body as it coordinates our bodies responses. Our hollow bones contains the bone marrow that produces the blood cells that travel round our body. Our lungs oxygenate the blood and our heart circulates it.  As you can see our body contains channels in which both electrical energy and nutrients flow and these are regulated at certain meeting points and the chakras symbolise these points.  The chakras also symbolise the journey of life and the natural world that we are a part of.  This report aims to give a personalised meaning of the journey of life for the individual, as well as encompassing how they fit into the natural world and their intimate connection to mother Earth.

The first chakra or the Muladhara is the root chakra.  This chakra connects us to the earth and roots us to the material world.  If you imagine a tree, its root system is a mirror image to the growth above ground.  The Muladhara is like this, in order to create a secure base and stable structure for the Kundalini the root must create a stable structure mirroring the structure of the chakra.  The larger the root structure and the more securely it is attached to mother earth the larger the structure of the Chakras can become and the more stable the easier it is for the kundalini to rise in  secure and stable manner.  Strengthening and developing the root chakra helps to strengthen all the other chakras.  The strength of the kundalini is also determined by the root chakra.  Although not as well known as the main seven chakra there are seven chakras that descend from the root chakra to the soles of the feet mirroring the upper system.

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”

A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root.

The first Chakra the Muladhara is ruled by both Mars and Saturn, as this is the base from which the energy of the Kundalini flows this chakra is of vital importance.  The Muladhara roots us to mother earth and provides a base for the life giving energy to flow through us and develop our latent talents and abilities.  Without a strong Muladhara the Kundalini is weakened and the other chakras will be negatively impacted.

Stability of Muladhara chakra is indicated by Saturn in the natal chart. Saturn at 0 degrees Cancer conjunct south Node in 9th house.  Saturn conjunct the south node indicates that you have a strong and stable foundation from which the Kundalini can grow and develop you may have had many trials early in life to develop this inner strength and resolve.  Saturn in cancer indicates that the stability of the Muladhara helps to stabilise the energy of the third chakra which is ruled by the sun and moon, giving you a stable and secure sense of who you are in terms of being part of the wider human family and an invaluable member of your community.  Saturn here directs energy towards working within the community for the benefit of all and a strong sense of connection to your roots and heritage.  Saturn in the 9th house also helps to create a very stable energy base in the 2nd house and indicates strong creative energy within you.  Jupiter and Pluto rule the 2nd chakra the Swadhisthana.  Western kabbalists make the kabbalistic association of Swadhisthana with the Sephirah Yesod, Yesod is also associated with the sexual organs. Its function in the tree of life is to gather the different energies that have been created in the descent of the tree downwards and distribute them to Malkuth, the material world, where the energy can find physical expression.  The energy of creation, life and mother earth is seated in the 2nd chakra and having saturn in the 9th may give you a strong sense of connection with mother earth and the energies contained within her.  Saturn in the 9th house is indicative of maintaining a healthy second chakra, the second chakra can be compared to the trunk of a tree, whose pipes carry nutrients to the whole system, as a tree ages these pipes become rigid and can no longer maintain a strong flow of energy but instead create core strength and in trees are called the heartwood as they are found in the centre of the trunk.  This core strength always need to be balanced by the creation of new channels which allow energy flow and in some cases coppicing of the old trunk allows for complete renewal and regeneration of the chakras and allows the Kundalini to flow freely.  Thus in life the individual may experience situations that cut them back to the core root of who they are in order to instigate renewal and growth.  This may be avoided at times by overcoming to much rigidity whilst remaining true to their core beliefs and values.

Saturn semi-square sun in Leo 12th house this dynamic energy is working within you to create a stable sense of who you are in regards to your sense of self identity or ego within the third chakra.  This energy is always present and is a dynamic which throughout life works to create a strong foundation of who you are as an individual with unique talents, insights and perspectives in order for you to develop a strong appreciation of your worth and value as a member of the human race this enables you to better let go of your connection to the earth when the time arrives for you to embark on the journey towards the light eith the knowledge that you have used your talents and abilities to leave behind a legacy of love and achievement.

Saturn sextile Mars denotes that your Vitality and stability work together in creating a strong and vital base for the Kundalini energy that dwells within you.

Saturn square Pluto  in Libra 12th house denotes that there is a dynamic flow of energy from the first chakra to the 6th which is working towards creating a strong and stable kundalini energy within you and although this energy is very dynamic and may feel intense it is working towards creating strong and stable chakras from which the 7th chakra will gain strength and development.

The Vitality of the Muladhara is determined by Mars in the natal chart.  Mars in Aries indicates a  strong and vital energy in the Muladhara that is potent and aids growth of the Kundalini.  Mars in the 6th house indicates that this energy is very vital between the 1st and 5th house and the individual may feel driven towards increasing their own inner wisdom and speaking out against injustice in the world.  Mars square Mercury increases the dynamic tension of this aspect and makes the individual feel a compulsion to develop these energies.

Mars square Jupiter creates an intensely dynamic 2nd Chakra where the individual is driven to express creative energies through art or working within the natural world especially within environmental arenas.  The individual may also be drawn to use the creative life energies in some form of natural healing process.

Mars biquintile Neptune indicates that within this strong and vital Kundalini energy there is a sense within this individual that they are working towards the point of death and their ability to return to the light of unconditional love with a sense that they have fulfilled their purpose in life and left the world a better place.

Overall this individual has a very strong and stable base chakra from which the Kundalini is able to grow and develop this energy is very dynamic and the individual may feel driven to fulfil his own unique destiny in life.  The energy here is both strong and dynamic which indicates that one of the main functions of their life purpose is learning to keep the strength of energy whilst stabilising its effects to create a more stable and well balanced Kundalini energy the individual has the potential to work towards creating a strong and fully active kundalini of which they are in full control and not overwhelmed by.  The energy and stability of the Muladhara may be important more important in the 5th and 6th chakras if they develop talents involving healing which require them to use these energies often with consistency.

The second chakra is the Swadhisthana, the base chakra we can imagine this as the base of a tree trunk or the base of our spine.  It is from this point that our tree grows upwards towards the light.  The base sure be securely attached to the earth by the roots for it to be strong.  It is the trunk of the tree that carries the nutrients from the earth to the rest of the system.  The trunk is the part of a tree that connects the leafy crown with its roots.  Roots absorb water and nutrients from the soil, which are then transported up the tree trunk in cells that act much like pipes.  This allows the leaves to obtain water and nutrients that are necessary for the manufacture of food from light energy.  Or in our case you can imagine those pipes produced by the Swadhisthana as the channels in which the Kundalini flows.  The Trunk also supports the branches and leaves in a position where they can absorb sufficient sunlight.  As the trunk grows it opens the crown or canopy of the tree to more sunlight.  Thus this chakra is concerned with strong earth energy for it is responsible for its distribution, because of the strong earth energy this chakra is also connected to sexual energy of the life giving force.  The chakra symbolises structured growth and the energy of mother earth, the awe and wonder of being part of the natural world and the urge to grow and reach out for the sun and the stars.

In a field, there was an oak at one end, and a willow-tree at the other. Whenever a wind moved through the field, the willow swayed in the wind, while the oak remained unmoved. When this happened, the willow said to itself, “I wish I was as strong as the Oak, instead of bending over with every breeze“ then one day a large windstorm whipped through the field. When the storm passed, and the darkness lifted, the willow looked across the field, and was shocked to discover that the oak was laying on the ground, broken. When the Gardener came into the field, the willow said, “Oh sir, what happened to the Oak? How is it that I survived the storm, weak as I am, and the Oak fell?” The Gardener said, “Oh little willow-tree, do you not understand what happened? When the winds blow, you bend with them, while the oak remains still. So when a really powerful wind comes along, you can bend with the wind, and survive it. But the Oak cannot bend, and so if the wind is strong enough, it will break. For the Oak had a secret, a weakness within that no one looking at the outside could see. And the Gardener went on his way, leaving the willow to ponder what he said.  The Oak was strong because of the heartwood formed at the centre of the trunk, heartwood is formed when the pipes that sap flows through harden and this gives strength to the centre of the tree but if all those pipes harden and become stiff sap cannot flow and the tree becomes to rigid.

Jupiter and Pluto rule the 2nd chakra the Swadhisthana.  This is the joyous energy of mother earth at her most creative bringing the gift of life and wonders of the natural world.  This is also the joyous experience of being part of that miraculous dynamic cycle.

Jupiter creates a strong creative energy that is expansive and life affirming while Pluto represents the souls realisation that it is alive and part of the cycle of life on mother earth.

Jupiter in Aquarius in 4th house indicates that the strong creative energy of mother earth may be used in some form of healing if the individual wishes to develop this potential.  The individual can connect to the divine unconditional love and wisdom as a method of healing others of emotional and psychological pain through compassion and understanding.

Jupiter sextile Neptune in Sagittarius in the 2nd house gives the individual the opportunity to connect with the eternal unconditional love felt for us all and use this energy in conjunction with the creative energies of mother earth to reach others and heal their pain, the individual may also have a strong sense of the natural life cycle and may find it easier than most in their acceptance of death and the return to the light.

Jupiter trine Pluto indicates a strong awareness at the soul level of the abundant life creating forces that are contained within the earth as a living dynamic being.

Pluto in Libra in 12th house indicates that the individual has a strong awareness of the purpose of the energies within and has a well developed heart chakra which serves as a secure foundation for their spiritual development, and that the 2nd chakra energy should be flowing uninhibited to the 6th chakra and 7th chakra.

With the South Node of the Moon in the 9th house this individual’s life path is focused on creating a strong and stable pathway between the 2nd chakra and the 5th.  The individual will most likely be drawn to using the energy to serve the higher purpose of the 5th Chakra.  When balanced and energised the 5th chakra allows access to higher wisdom and purpose.  This may be achieved through meditation, lucid dreaming in which the individual may connect with a tutor from an other worldly realm or simply experience an inner voice that gives them access to wisdom and knowledge.  The individual may feel more energised when they are in natural surrounding and may need to take time out if they live in urban areas to reconnect with nature as this is an important aspect of who they are and the energies that flow through them.

The third Chakra, the Manipura, city of Jewels or resplendant Gem, we can imagine as the crown of the tree, where the branches split and snake off in different directions.  This chakra is involved in self-esteem, warrior energy, and the power of transformation; it also governs digestion and metabolism. A healthy spirited third chakra helps overcome inertia and jump-starts a “get-up-and-go” attitude so it is easier to take risks, assert one’s will, and assume responsibility for one’s life. This chakra is also the location of deep belly laughter, warmth, ease, and the vitality received from performing selfless service.  As our branches snake off in many directions we discover who we are and what we can accomplish in life.  It is on these branches that the leaves are formed which absorb the light.  The better placed these branches are the more light will be absorbed by the leaves and the stronger the branches the more leaves it can support.

The holly and the ivy,
When they are both full grown
Of all the trees that are in the wood
The holly bears the crown.

The Holly crown has a long history of being harvested during the dark days of winter to bring green the colour of life and love into the home and lighten the darkness within.

The Third Chakra the Manipura is ruled by the Sun and Moon.  A baby in the womb lies at this Chakra and Manipura means city of Jewels, for it represents what we create with the energy of the 2nd chakra our wonderful gift of life.  Here we learn that we are individuals and develop our sense of self esteem, family and community that gives us a foundation of who and what we are.

The Sun in Leo in 10th house Leo help strengthen the energy here and the 10th house adds stability and core foundation for this energy to develop positively with the 10th’s Saturn influences it is unlikely that the individual will express this energy as mere egotism but seek to focus and use its potential constructively.  There is a strong possiblity that they will be drawn to raising public awareness on issues they feel strongly about.

Sun semisextile Venus in Virgo in 11th house, innate awareness of the 4th and 5th chakras that follow the individual understands the progression of energy from what we do and who we are to reconnecting with the divine love and wisdom.  This understanding colours what the individual does with their life as they are aware that what they do is an inheritance for the future generations to follow and needs to help them grow towards the final aspect of their journey.

The Sun sextile Uranus in Libra in 12th house, Indicates that there is a strong awareness of the heart chakra as the foundation of the spiritual journey, and this individual has the potential to use the strong energies of the Manipura to create a strong and stable heart chakra creating a secure base for their spiritual development.  This should come quite easily to the individual and energy should flow very easily between the 3rd, 4th and 5th chakras.  This flow of energy is a recognition of the importance for all of humanity to feel as sense of connection worth and value within their families and communities and the individual may work towards raising awareness of this through becoming a voice for others.

Sun square moon indicates that the energy within the 3rd chakra is very dynamic and is in constant fluctuation, this dynamic energy means this chakra is constantly active in the individuals life and they will work throughout life to learn to balance their own needs to be valued and appreciated with the need to feel part of a community and family.

Sun semisquare Pluto in Libra in 12th indicates the individual is very aware of the energies that flow from the 2nd chakra through to the 7th.  The individual is driven to use the creative and life giving energies of the 2nd chakra and use them in the most compassionate and loving way this theme is very important to their ability to move on in the latter stages of life and this is the area they will most likely reflect upon at this time as they measure their achievements in the sense of what they have built in terms of relationships and acts of compassion against what they may have achieved therefore it is important that the individual does not lose sight of this aspect of their psyche for what they achieve in this area will be what they value most as their own achievements in life.

Moon in Scorpio in 1st house indicates an individual very aware of the life energy flowing through the kundalini, this individual is very much aware that they are part of the circle of life and that this life giving energy connects them to the earth, their family, their ancestors and their community as part of a shared experience of life.  They may have a strong draw to study and understand the beliefs and culture of their ancestors how this has evolved within the generations and how they share a common heritage.

Moon sextile Venus in Virgo 11th house indicates that the individual is very aware that their common ancestry and history connects them to humanity as a whole and they embrace the concept of being part of one human family with the ability to feel deep compassion for others and the wisdom to see that we are all equal to each other in our capacity to love and share.  the individual sense that the boundaries some proclaim between the spiritual and the materialistic person are non existent that we all contain equal measures of both.

The fourth chakra, the Anahata, heart chakra or serene chakra, we can imagine as the green leaves contained in the crown of our tree.  It is here that the energy of the light of love is combined with the nutrients of the Kundalini to produce the food needed by the 5th, 6th and 7th chakras.  This chakra teaches us to follow our heart and act with love and charity, it may also be used for healing.  It is what is produced here in the 4th chakra that is taken with us on the next stage of the journey after life has ceased.  In the fourth chakra the food of the fruit of the 5th chakra is created.  This chakra gives us access to the pure unconditional love contained within the soul and to the divine source of that love, with the energies of the kundalini this can be used as a means of spiritual healing.  And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.  Love never fails; but if there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done away.  And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing.  Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant,  does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered.  “Sing the song of celestial love, O singer!  May the divine fountain of eternal grace and joy enter your soul.  May Brahma, (the Divine One),  Pluck the strings of your inner soul with His celestial fingers,  And feel His own presence within.  Bless us with a divine voice  That we may tune the harp-strings of our life To sing songs of Love to you.” (Rig Veda)

Rowan

The 4th chakra Anahata the heart Chakra is ruled by both Venus and Uranus.  This Chakra like the Muladhara is extremely important for it is from this chakra that the spiritual and divine energy within us meets the life giving energy of the Muladhara.  At the point of death the life giving energy of the Muladhara dies or more accurately returns to mother earth as part of the continuous cycle of life and the first 3 chakras cease to exist, whilst the soul ascends  to the spiritual energy residing within the heart Chakra then rises through the 5th, 6th and 7th chakra and the tunnel towards the light.  The energy of pure unconditional love survives our mortality and is what we take with us at the moment of death this is the light within that returns to the greater light.  The heart Chakra is also important in accessing both spiritual energy and life giving energy of the earth.  When the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th chakras are well develop not only can energy flow up between them but the connection to the earth itself through the Muladhara may be strengthened and the energy of mother earth itself may be drawn and used in the right circumstances to heal in such cases both the 2nd and 4th Chakra are vitally important in this process. In the same process when the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th Chakras are well developed not only does the energy flow up through them but through the 7th Chakra they can reconnect with the divine energy of unconditional love and draw this energy in combination with the creative energy of mother nature in order to heal and nurture others emotionally and physically.

Venus in Virgo in 11th house indicates a strong heart chakra and base spiritual energy connected to universal unconditional love and the wisdom it contains.  The strong earth energy of Virgo represents the energies of the 2nd Chakra being used in the 4th and 5th chakra as a means of healing and creating energy expressed through pure and unconditional love.

Uranus in Libra in 12th house indicate that there is a strong flow of spiritual energy from the 4th Chakra into the 5th, 6th and 7th chakras.  This individual has the opportunity to develop the strong connection between the spiritual chakras to achieve a sense of real spiritual development back towards the light.

Uranus opposite Mars show that there is a strong use of the life giving energy of the Muladhara and the Spiritual energy of the heart chakra this combining of energies is a dynamic one within the individual in which they work continuously to balance these powerful energies.  The individual also has the opportunity to draw both spiritual and life giving energy and learn the appropriate use of both.

Uranus conjunct the Ascendant in Libra show that the individual has a naturally energised heart chakra and will naturally tend to develop this energy as a fundamental part of who they are.

The fifth chakra, the Vishuddha, or the throat chakra, we can imagine as the fruit of our tree, this fruit is wisdom which allows us the vision to see three realms clearly the past, present and future.  With this vision we have the ability to speak out on injustice in the world to connect the past, present and future in ways that help others see our potential paths and understand the choices we all face in life.  In the fruit of our wisdom lies the seeds of the 6th and 7th chakras which are nourished by the fruit, the ability to nourish the 6th and 7th chakras is also one of the 5th chakras main purposes.  Once upon a time there was an apple tree which God had created. It was a young tree without any leaves or fruit. One night the young tree saw the brilliant stars and was very unhappy. He wished for himself to have these sparkling stars on his branches so that he too would be beautiful. The next morning, God noticed that the tree was unhappy, and He said to him, “Let me make something for you. I will dress you up in a beautiful mantle of green so that you will be beautiful to behold. Then you will not be so unhappy.”  But the tree was not content with God’s plan. “I do not want a mantle of green, I want stars.” The next morning the tree saw that God had not given him stars, but green leaves. And the tree frowned upon it. Once again the tree said to God, “I want stars,” but instead, God gave him beautiful red fruit. The tree was even more unhappy. The wind saw how unhappy the apple tree was and the wind became unhappy too. The wind blew and tried to set the apple tree free of the leaves and the fruit, but he failed. However, as the wind blew, some of the leaves and fruit fell to the ground. One piece of fruit broke into two pieces right in the middle. When the tree looked upon the broken fruit, guess what he saw?  Inside the fruit was the shape of a star! Not only did the apple contain the star of wisdom but also the seeds of the 6th and 7th chakras.

Forest

The fifth Chakra the throat Chakra is ruled by Uranus and Mercury.  Here the individual is able to discern the effects of their actions and realignment of their will with the greater good of all.  The individual is also able to connect with the divine wisdom through this chakra, Jesus’s warning that it is not what we put into our bodies that makes us unclean but what comes out of our mouths also very relevant to this chakra.

Mercury in Cancer conjunct Midheaven indicates the individual has a strong understanding of the thoughts and emotions of others and is therefore able to understand what drives their thoughts and emotional processes, they have the potential to reach a large audience and influence these emotional and thought processes for the betterment of society and mankind.

Mercury square Mars and Uranus shows that there is a strong dynamic mix of energy available to the 5th chakra which they must learnt to use appropriately for the benefit of all.

The sixth chakra , the Ajna or third eye through the wisdom of the 5th chakra helps us reconnect with the spiritual world as a means of understanding our purpose on earth and preparing our soul for the journey home.  Ajna means command and when we have developed the fruit of wisdom and allowed it to ripen we have command of our ability to use intellect, wisdom and intuition together in the Ajna to understand where we are heading and to envision new paths forwards.  To use the Ajna we must have the wisdom of understanding what must be and what we can change, and the correct motivation for the use of this energy.  With this there must be an acceptance of the fact that we will only ever know what is meant for us to know and that part given to us is for a reason just as the part unseen is for a reason.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears.

unicorn

The 6th Chakra the third eye is ruled by Neptune and Pluto.  This chakra is similar to the 2nd chakra however where the 2nd chakra allows for greater understanding and access to the potential to the life giving energies of mother earth the 6th chakra allows for greater understanding of the spiritual dimensions in which we exist and access to the potential of the spiritual energy that is available to us.  Those with strong 6th Chakras are able to access the healing power of spiritual energy when it is appropriate and after developing their potential.  This Chakra is also about developing an understanding our place in the spiritual and divine cycle of energy.

Neptune in Sagittarius in 2nd house denotes that the individual’s learning process of their place in the divine is understood by their development of understanding the energies of earth its uses and healing properties and development through the 2nd and 4th Chakras.  Through development of these themes the individual learns that this is only a mirror image of the spiritual energy purpose in the 4th and 6th Chakra.  When the individual begins to evolve these themes they also develop the ability to use the spiritual energy available to them at the same time.

Pluto in Libra 12th indicates that the heart Chakra is central to the souls journey in this life and its development is the individuals most important priority for progressing forward.

The seventh chakra, the Sahasrara or the crown chakra is actually located slightly above the head in fact you may have seen it at night, on occasions many people before sleep see the tunnel that leads to the light and the Sahasrara is located at the base of this tunnel that connects you to the light at death.  This chakra is where your spirit guide or guardian angel stands guard as it is the gateway to the spirit world. It is important that the heart chakra, throat chakra and third eye have developed and sustain for an individual to feel comfortable accessing the gateway this chakra holds at the moment of death.  This gateway may also allow spirits to speak to us and often before death family spirits use this gateway to make the journey back to the light with the individual.  In religious rituals the crown is often annointed, in Exodus this annointing is made from Olive oil (fruit of the 5th Chakra), Cinamon(tree bark of the 2nd and 3rd chakra) and Myrrh (sap or gum that flows or the energy of the Kundalini).

For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

Pegasus

The 7th chakra the crown chakra is where the spirit leaves the body at death and where one connects to the divine in life thus this chakra is vitally important.  This Chakra is ruled by Neptune and its placement shows that the individual has potential for much spiritual growth through the heart Chakra the energies and stability created will form a strong foundation of what this soul returns to the light and there is much potential for the individual to return strong and whole with the potential of their heart chakra.

SAMPLE of Fixed star Report

Helical rising star Facies

Facies is a nebula in the face of the constellation Sagitarius.  In Babylonian mythology Sagittarius is Pablesag.

The wild bull with brindled thighs, whose house is noble! My king, the wild bull with brindled thighs, whose house is noble! Pabilsaj, the wild bull with brindled thighs, whose house is noble! His house, the house of Larag, is noble, his house is noble! His city, a mighty city, is abundant, and his house is noble! The warrior’s house is the house of Larag; Lord Pabilsaj’s city is a mighty city ……. His birthplace was the shrine Nibru ……. The place where he drank good milk was the house ……. From the place, the pure place, ……. Isin, the unique house ……. The place which the bull embraces ……. Like a scorpion rising up from among the thorns, he is a fearsome scorpion; like a wolf rising up from his lair, he is likely to growl; like a lion rising up in the pathway, he is likely to beat …….

Facies confers great ability when it comes to understanding and developing strong philosophical ideas and putting abstract beliefs into practical use for the benefit of all.  With Jupiter conjunct the sun in the natal chart these abilities are likely to be well honed throughout life.  The Sun and Jupiter  conjunct  in Capricorn and Saturn conjunct South Node in the 9th house add a more honed influence to the helical rising star of Facies and this individual is less likely to act on a whim or flight of fancy as some with this helical rising star they are more likely to weigh up the risks and benefits involved.  This individual is still bold and daring but reserves their inner strength for the fights and battles which are important to them in achieving their philosophical and life aims.

With  Jupiter Trine Mars and the North Node in the natal chart the helical rising star takes on a powerful significance in this person’s life especially since the helical rising star is conjunct with Mercury in the 6th house which is the arena of work and service to others this person may feel that they came into this world with a mission to fulfil.  They are likely to be a very deep thinker with a huge capacity to develop skills and talents that will benefit humanity as a whole.

Helical setting Star is El Nath the Nothern star on the tip of the bulls horn.

El Nath confers strength and determination in fulfilling ambitions in life.  In the 11th house it gives strength to overcome many obstacles in life and the determination to create a better society for all to live in.  Jupiter in mythology changed into the bull to seduce Europa.

And gradually she lost her fear, and he

Offered his breast for her virgin caresses,

His horns for her to wind with chains of flowers

Until the princess dared to mount his back

Her pet bull’s back, unwitting whom she rode.

Then—slowly, slowly down the broad, dry beach—

First in the shallow waves the great god set

His spurious hooves, then sauntered further out

’til in the open sea he bore his prize

Fear filled her heart as, gazing back, she saw

The fast receding sands.

Her right hand grasped A horn, the other lent upon his back

Her fluttering tunic floated in the breeze. – Ovid  ‘Metamorphosis’

El Nath symbolises the power of the Unicorn or the Horn of God, those with this fixed star prominent in their natal charts may feel called by God to provide leadership and spiritual guidance in times of need.  They tend to be very strong characters with stable and deeply felt emotions that they express through a gentle and nurturing manner.  However if loved ones are threatened they are capable of defending them and have very strong will power when challenged they will not accept defeat.
