Mars in Aquarius female   Leave a comment

Mars in Aquarius ideal partner is a free spirit, who likes to think outside the box.  Their ideal partner doesn’t need to conform to stereotypes or societal norms.  Their partner is the one person who stands out in the crowd, the one with the t-shirt on back to front or the person looking back when all others are looking forward.

The waters of Aquarius symbolised the ancient Sumerian God Enki/ Ea. Enki’s waters represented the Euphrates and Tigris which fed the fertile crescent.  In ancient Sumerian myth his water is semen that gives fertility to the land.  In the legend of Enki and Ninhursag, Ninhursag bore a daughter to Enki called Ninsar (“Lady Greenery”). Through Enki, Ninsar bore a daughter Ninkurra. Ninkurra, in turn, bore Enki a daughter named Uttu. Enki then pursued Uttu, who was upset because he didn’t care for her. Uttu, on her ancestress Ninhursag’s advice buried Enki’s seed in the earth, whereupon eight plants (the very first) sprung up. Enki, seeing the plants, ate them, and became ill in eight organs of his body. Ninhursag cured him, taking the plants into her body.

In the myth of Enki and Innana (Venus) Enki gets drunk and loses his Me’s (ideals of civilisation) to Inanna.  With Mars in Aquarius these individuals are likely to get drunk on the effects of Venus due to their lusty nature.
